Summer was lovingly surrendered to us by her finder/owner. Summer was found in the summer by a wonderful human who so badly wanted to keep her… however, the resident cat didn’t like that idea. After months of trying to acclimate the resident kitty… her finder surrendered her to us so that we could find her a perfect forever home. It was heartbreaking and her finder/owner felt so incredibly bad and guilty… but this is not the human animal welfare is angry with. This human tried everything she could, and Summer’s health and happiness is a testament to how hard she tried! Summer has one of the best little kitten personalities and has fit in PERFECTLY in her foster home so far. She is very social with humans and cats alike.

Dogs: she is not currently fostered in a home with dogs… but has briefly met some. With her age and demeanor, a home with dogs would likely be just fine!

Cats: she loves playing and cuddling with her siblings and has interacted well with her foster kitty brother and sister. She needs a kitty companion, whether that's another kitten in our rescue or another playful and welcoming cat!

Kids: being a kitten, Summer would likely love kiddo humans to love on. It’s important that her human parents encourage polite kitty habits for both her and the kiddos. She is currently being fostered with school aged kids, but not super duper young ones.

Litter box: she has shown great litter box habits! She is currently using clay litter

She was surrendered by a human who had her for a few weeks/months so because she has always been well cared for, she is healthy and happy!
