Katara was lovingly surrendered to us by her finder. Katara was cared for by her caretaker until a foster was made available, being that she is from a cat colony that had been slowly being worked on. Katara has a shy little kitten personality, but has fit in well in her foster home so far. She is slower to warm up, but secretly LOVES affection. From humans and cats alike.

Dogs: she is not currently fostered in a home with dogs… but has briefly met some. With her age and demeanor, a home with dogs would likely be just fine!

Cats: she loves playing and cuddling with her sibling and has interacted well with her foster kitty sister. She needs a kitty companion, whether that's another kitten in our rescue or another playful and welcoming cat!

Kids: being a kitten, Katara would likely love kiddo humans to love on. However, she is slower to warm up to humans thus far. It’s important that her human parents encourage polite kitty habits for both her and the kiddos.

Litter box: she has shown great litter box habits! She is currently using clay litter… however her foster has hopes to transition her to using pine pellet litter.

She was surrendered by a human who had her for a few weeks so because she has always been well cared for, she is healthy and happy!
