This is Nova! Did you know the original bred pitbull dogs were quite small? Weighing in at around 30lbs… and being no more than about 40lbs? The modern day bullies and bully mutts are typically much larger… but our girl Nova is teeny tiny! Weighing in around 20lbs, fully grown!!! Nova was originally adopted from the city shelter and then surrendered to us at around a year old. She is SUCH a lovely gal, in a compact and fun sized body!

Dogs: she is very submissive and could live with any dog big or small. In fact, we would much prefer her to have a doggy sibling(s) that would really help her acclimate to the house that she’s going to move into. She is fine with male and female dogs, but or small. Nova takes direction very well, but will stick up for herself when needed. she loves to play, but leaves older dogs alone.

Cats: she ignores them, smells them and walks away or with one of her kitty siblings, she will lay down next to him. In other words, she can happily live with any cat.

Kids: Nova doesn’t current live with young kiddos, but she does currently reside with high school aged kiddos.

Potty habits: she is house trained but has had a few accidents when gets nervous, totally understandable!

Kennel: Does excellent in her kennel!

She should go on a walk a day because she just turned a year old and has lots of energy. Her favorite thing to do is play with our husky and follow her foster dad around the house. She is nervous meeting new people because she came from a busy household. She sleeps right next to you at night and wants to be held like a baby. She knows sit and stay and can hold stay for quite a bit.
