Yeti is a sweet girl who is very gentle and ready to give all of the love. Yeti enjoys playing fetch and chewing on toys, but is not terribly destructive, despite her age. Yeti loves cuddling and taking naps on top of you, but is just as happy to wander to her own bed to take a snoozer. While she knows a few basic commands, she is definitely intelligent enough to learn a lot more.
Dogs: Yeti is currently living with two adult male pit bulls. She was initially shy around them, but quickly warmed up and now loves cuddling with her brothers and playing tug of war with toys. Yeti is easily corrected by the other dogs, and does not test boundaries.
Cats: Yeti has yet to meet a cat since she has been with us, but there has been no indication that with the right introductions and kitties, she would be unable to learn how to live with them. She is still a puppy, but that means she is young enough to mold to various lifestyles.
Kids: Yeti has met several kids around 4 years and older, and did a wonderful job with them. She is not a mouthy dog, and takes all treats offered by kiddos gently. She does a wonderful job of knowing what toys she is able to play with, and what toys are off limits.
Crate training: Yeti is very eager to go into her crate, especially if there is her food or a treat involved. She is happy to stay in the crate while her people are at work, however she is very vocal about staying in the crate at night when it is time for bed. While she will whine for a while, she does calm down and goes to sleep for the rest of the night without issue.
Housebreaking: Yeti is getting the hang of it! She knows she needs to potty outside and has already found a routine as to when she wants to head outside to take care of her business. Yeti has a few accidents leading us to believe she prioritizes hanging out with her friends higher than going outside.
Once she gets to know you, Yeti is a wonderful mix of willingness to play and run around and loving to just hang out, take naps and get cuddles. She will adapt to anyone’s energy level at any point. She has the most adorable scrunchy head and is very expressive, letting you know exactly how she’s feeling about everything.
