Universe came to us from Westside Shelter where she had been picked up as a stray in March. We guess she's between 2-3 years old and her tummy tells us at some point she's had puppies. But this little momma is ready for the next chapter of her life as she settles into foster care. Universe is an ADORABLE petite little charming gal!

Universe is a very quiet, well mannered girl. She gives big butt wiggles when she sees her friends but can be a little shy toward new people. Universe is currently fostered with P&K's very own Legolas, the orange boy cat. She is very respectful of his space and stay away, though he chooses to keep his distance anyway. We feel Universe would do well in a home either on her own or with pet siblings.

If you're looking for a semi active couch potato Universe is a pretty good fit. She loves to go on walks but will gladly tell you when she's had enough and would be just as happy people watching at the park for her outdoor time. She has one dog friend that she loves to run and play with in short spurts.

Universe hasn't taken much interest in her toys and says she prefers to do whatever her person is doing. She's a great little shadow and she loves belly rubs and treats.

Dogs: Universe likes proper introductions when making new doggo friends but is very happy to play and follow others lead. She really wants to play with some pups, but needs a second to understand it’s safe! She seems to particularly love the presence of a smaller sized Poohuahua friend she met

Cats: Universe is very gentle and respectful of cats. She could absolutely go to a cat home!

Crate training: Universe sleeps soundly when crated overnight IF youre home with her. However when crated alone she can have some anxiety and potty accidents.

Leash: Universe walks EXCELLENT on a leash! She walks slowly, stopping to sniff often but as recently discovered is very excited to go jogging as well. Just needs practice!
