Are you in need of a dog who can turn even the rainiest day into a cozy cuddle fest? Look no further than Jax, our 1-year-old bundle of affection with a knack for snuggling and fetch! His gaze is absolutely daunting and he will melt your soul with his puppy dog eyes.

Jax is a true people-pleaser!!! He knows sit, and that’s about it for now. But he is absolutely able to learn FAR more.

Dogs: dog-friendly, Jax seems to love being around other doggies. He has been able to politely meet every dog he has been introduced to in his foster homes. Including one pup that has a hard time getting along with most dogs. He has been able to play politely with those that need polite/slow play…. But has been able to go balls to the wall with some crazies!!!!

Cats: cat-curious (with no hard feelings if the cats aren’t keen on playing along). Jax has done great with meeting a cat! Jax was extremely neutral and avoidant. He may need some direction and instructions on how to behave properly since he doesn’t currently live with cats.

Kids: Jax seems to like kids. He met one 6 year old that loved to throw the ball for him. He can be a bit shy at first so it’s important that kids don’t come running up on him. He has a gentle soul who’s shown nothing but kindness to the little humans he has met. He is a taller guy and working on not jumping, so he might accidentally knock a little one over… but it is important to note that he didn’t seem to want to be jumpy with the kids he’s met

Crate: Crate training? Jax is working on it! He would absolutely prefer to be snuggled up on the couch or bed with you… but he will settle in the crate eventually. He hasn’t escaped or destroyed anything while in his crate. He seems to be potty trained, but he was recently neutered and may mark at first.

Now, let’s talk about his energy level: Jax has enough zest for a game of fetch or a romp in the yard, but if you’re more into lounging on the couch, he’s more than happy to join you there. However… it should be noted… Jax LOVESSSSS games of fetch!!! He would love to be in your lap, on top of you, and as close as he can possibly be!

In a nutshell, whether you’re up for active play or just chilling on the couch, Jax is your guy! He is ready to bring his big, loving heart and his unparalleled cuddling skills to his forever home. Are you ready to give this sweet boy all the love he’s been dreaming of?
